Cards for Guys

The 4WD Trips to the bush have been a bit quiet lately no doubt due in part to the GFC.

I have taken some of my photographs and made them into greeting cards suitable for guys.

You may purchase these cards from www.cards4guys.com.au

Minimum order is 24 cards at $2.00 per card plus $5 P&H. Orders only for Australia.

The images used on the greeting cards are shown below.

On the back of the card there is a brief description or history of the image.

Larger A4 or A3 sized unframed prints can be ordered.

Pure Genius 2012 Photo Competition Winner

One of the 4WD Guy's photographs was selected as one of the 50 "Winners" from more than 1000 entrants.

I have called this "Shell Trails"

This uncropped, unaltered, handheld colour photo was taken looking down into a salt water rock pool about 50mm deep at Bawley Point NSW. Once you notice a few small coloured shells you will see the trails they have left behind during their wanderings. Then it is easy to pick up many more smaller black shells. NIKON D300: 1/250; F8; ISO 200; 75.0 mm

River Conditions Deua Nat Park 2012
RIVER CROSSINGS – DEUA NP
Due to recent heavy rainfall, the first two river crossings at Bendethera have changed and sections of the river bed have deepened. The NPWS advises that drivers take extreme caution if crossing.
If further rain continues to fall and river levels rise, entering river crossings is not advisable.
The third river crossing at Bendethera has changed and the river bed has deepened and become very unstable. The NPWS has CLOSED this crossing until further notice. Using this crossing in its current state will only cause further damage and future repairs may be difficult to implement.

Bendethera Conservation Management Plan

A Conservation Management Plan (CMP) is in the process of being finalized (March 2010) by a group of consultants in conjunction with National Parks (Narooma Office).

It is proposed that the CMP be publicized before being adopted by June 2010. Download a PDF Version Here
