The Victorian High Country is a great place for touring with your 4WD.
There is a wide variety of experiences to be had from excellent camping besides mountain streams and rivers to steep climbs and descents on fire trails.
Many of the more interesting trails and camping destinations are closed for the winter months (generally from following the Queens Birthday weekend in June to perhaps early November) with the result that during the open period, many campsites are occupied.
4WDTrips will be running a number of tours in the High Country during 2010 to suit a range of experiences.
One group of tours will cater for those that want to do some 4WD but also look for experiences such as local restuarants and even B&B. For these will will look at tours running generally from Sydney to Melbourne and return.
Please drop us an email if you are looking for something specific - especially if you have a group of friends where a trip can be tailored for your needs.

Vast areas of the high country have been burnt out mainly in 2003, 2007 and 2009.
