Braidwood is a heritage town, classified by the National Trust. It has grand historic buildings, as well as charming 19th century cottages. The town is nestled in the upper valley of the Shoalhaven River, halfway between Canberra and Batemans Bay on the coast.
The best starting point for your visit is the Visitors' Information Centre located near the National Theatre in Wallace Street or the wonderful Braidwood Museum. If you want to explore the more remote areas beyond Braidwood, then contact Peter Kneen - The 4WD Guy
