We use Braidwood as our base. Braidwood is the first complete town in NSW to be heritage listed and is located midway between Canberra and the coast at Batemans Bay.

Some of the easy trips have been designed to permit people travelling from Canberra to the coast to take a "detour" through the bush and still arrive on the coast the same day. Half day and full day "Easy" grade trips to run from Braidwood on most weekends.

Special trips for groups can be arranged of any standard mid week. (min numbers). Examples: Birthday gifts, Xmas gifts, Photographers, "Wilderness Experiences".

Some places we visit: The Badja ,  the Big Hole ,  Monga National Park ,  Tallaganda Forest and National Park ,  Deua National Park and Bendethera and the Gurrocks. Some of these trips will incorporate visits to historical sites and homesteads (more details as they become finalized).

Easy trips can be undertaken with a 4WD Soft roader such as Nissan X-Trail and RAV4 equivalents. They will involve driving on dirt and gravel roads. No previous off-road experience is needed. Tag along mode is available and there may be limited passenger room in the fully equipped lead vehicle.

Medium or Moderate graded trips will need a proper 4WD vehicle in most cases with high clearance and good tyres. Some trips will not require previous off-road driving experience and some guidance is provided.

Harder trips requirements are detailed on the [Trips] and [FAQ] pages.
All trips require tag along drivers to accurately describe previous off road driving experience and to accept responsibility for the safety of their passengers.
