4WDTrips offers a range of short duration trips for passengers (you don't have to have a 4WD) or come in your own tag along vehicle. They range from half day easy (softroader) drives along well maintained forest roads to hard half/full day trips. Multi day camping or accommodated trips of all standards can be arranged to suit specific needs.

Favorite trips enable you to Experience the Wilderness, walk in rain forests, drive rugged mountain ridges. Or to be driven to these places. Arrange a birthday or anniversary outing to a special place.

In August we plan an extended trip from Sydney/Canberra to Birdsville via Warrumbungles, Lightning Ridge, the Burke & Wills Dig Tree and Inamincka. We will cross the Simpson Desert via the French Line. A return trip will take in the Coober Pedy before heading back through Adelaide, Kangaroo Island and the Great Ocean Road, Wilsons Prom, some Victorian High Country etc.

Interested people may note that it will be possible to join the tour for one or more sections only - for example to do the trip out to Birdsville, to meet at Birdsville for the crossing of the Simpson, or joining in Adelaide for the return leg.
